Driver CPC ~ is for LGV and PCV drivers who drive professionally throughout the UK.  It has been developed as a requirement of the EU Directive 2003/59, which is designed to improve the knowledge and skills of professional LGV and PCV drivers throughout their working life.  There are two parts to the legislation:

Approved Courses

Driver CPC Manual Handling Incorporating Emergency First Aid (7 Hours)

This training course will enable candidates to carry out Manual Handling operations safely and efficiently  and  equip candidates with the knowledge to administer emergency First Aid effectively.  This represents 7 hours of your 35 hours required.

                                                                    - 23rd August 2010  

Driving Tachographs & Working Time Directive (7 Hours)

 This course is designed to give drivers a greater understanding of their responsibilities and legal duties in relation to driver's hours, rest periods and use of tachographs.

Course Dates  -             26th July2010

Vehicle Checks & Basic Load Security (7 Hours)

This course is designed to give drivers a greater understanding of their responsibilities under the road traffic act and the provision and use of work equipment.

Course Dates:                  19th July 2010

Drive to Survive  (7 Hours)

This course is designed to give drivers a refreshed knowledge of the highway code and techniques required to increase road safety.
