Gloucestershire based training provider C&G Services has recently reached 30 years of construction training. Since 1985, the comprehensively accredited company has trained workers in every level of the construction industry, providing CPCS, Red Cards, Blue Cards and NVQs. They can also offer NPORS, LANTRA, ITSSAR, SQA and City & Guilds certified training and certification.
“We have marked the occasion with the full launch of our new site at Lodgemore in Stroud,” explained Kevin Parsons, Operations Director at C&G. “We’ve now got two large sites where we can conduct all our practical training on everything from excavators and cranes, through to trenching training, road rollers and practical CPCS tests in most plant categories. This week, for example, we had a 40 tonne crane on site for a senior managers’ refresher course on lifting operations.”
C&G Services stands apart from many other training providers because of their comprehensive range of courses, as well as their extensive selection of in-house equipment, which includes most heavy machinery required for the vast majority of construction training. “We design and deliver a lot of bespoke training for businesses who have very specialised requirements. For example, we have recently completed work in the Seychelles, training on specialist lifting equipment and we have an ongoing relationship with Severn Trent Water, fulfilling their vast range of specialised training needs.”
“We’re all very proud to have been training people for as long as we have and, far from resting on our laurels, we’re forging ahead and launching a range of eLearning courses over the coming months, to enable people to take Asbestos awareness, health & safety subjects and many other useful courses online, on any device.”
