Stonehouse-based international training provider C&G Services (Europe) Ltd has recently announced three new directorships, bolstering the executive management of the business. Kevin Parsons, Helen Bird and Jonathan Powney take up positions as Operations Director, Client Director and Technical Director, respectively.

“It’s an exciting time for the business and these directorships show stability,” explains Bob Oldmeadow, Founder and Managing Director of C&G Services. “I started the business decades ago and it’s grown to the point where we now need a team to drive the company. It’s easy to expand and lose quality but we’re really focused on maintaining our high standards. These are all proven people, well qualified in their respective fields. They’ve gained a lot of experience in the business and they also bring a wealth of outside experience, which is crucial.”

“We’ve just launched a new website, ‘gettrained.co.uk’, with a full suite of eLearning courses and the ability to book places on open courses online,” elaborates Kevin Parsons, Operations Director. “We want to make it as easy as possible for people to book across the entire training spectrum, from the basics, right up to highly specialised and bespoke training.”

Newly appointed Technical Director Jon Powney continued: “C&G has a name and reputation that deserves to be around for a very long time. People trust us, they like what we do and how we do it. We’ve got so much more to give. Beyond training people, we want to work with them in their companies to develop bespoke training, to manage and maintain their safe systems of work and improve their procedures and processes.”

Client Director Helen Bird explained the impact for clients: “My role is about maintaining the high quality of C&G’s customer experience. The relationships I’ve developed with many of our clients over the 12 years I’ve worked in the business means we can ensure our clients receive the best possible service as the business continues to expand.”

“We’re training 10,000 people a year, we’ve got more than 150 different courses on file and we specialise in designing bespoke courses for clients to ensure they’re getting exactly the training they need,” continued Director and Owner Jane Oldmeadow. “We’re really excited by the pace of the business and these new appointments are just one of the ways we’re fuelling our expansion.”
