This programme of training and assessment is designed for street works operatives who need to assemble and dismantle temporary signing, lighting & guarding of temporary works and mobile works within the highway in compliance with the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (NRSWA).


This course will train and assess operatives in the skills and knowledge required to risk assess, assemble and dismantle temporary Signing, Lighting & Guarding of Street works, Road works and Mobile works. It will also provide operatives with the skill and knowledge to correctly assemble and dismantle temporary Signing, Lighting & Guarding in line with the Safety at Street Works and Road Works code of practice
