This training course is designed for any person whose job involves work and entry into confined spaces. Candidates should have a current Medical Certificate

The Level 2 Confined Space Entry – Medium Risk course:

The aim of this unit is to assess learners against the national standard in a realistic medium risk environment preparing to work safely; entering and exiting confined spaces safely; preparing and using escape breathing apparatus; using equipment and tools safely; following procedures and dealing with emergencies. There is also a behavioural emphasis on the candidate undertaking the assessment in an efficient and safe manner. The unit also requires the learner to demonstrate sufficient general and water-specific knowledge through a mix of practical observation and written assessment. Successful candidates will demonstrate a good understanding of the hazards associated with work in confined spaces and the practices needed to ensure safe operation whilst this work takes place.

Who is this for?

The Driver Certificate of Professional Compe-tence (Driver CPC) is a qualification for professional bus, coach and lorry drivers. It has been introduced across Europe with the professed aim of improving road safety and helping to maintain high standards of driving. Professional drivers must do 35 hours of periodic training every 5 years to keep your Driver Certificate of Professional Competence ( CPC ) to drive a lor-ry, bus or coach.

Aims and Objectives:

To ensure that candidates are provided with the knowledge needed as professional drivers to continue to perform their duties safely. Candidates will take part in theoretical training and discussions relating to Rules and Reg-ulations affecting professional drivers and Safety and Security.

Site Management Safety Training Scheme—Refresher - 22nd & 29th July

Who is it for?

This refresher course is designed for site managers who have previously completed their SMSTS course and need to renew their certificate. You can undertake the refresher course within 6 months either side of your SMSTS pass date.

Aims and Objectives

At the end of this refresher course candidates will have an updated knowledge of current regulations, legislation and safety related topics. This course will require candidates to demonstrate their current health and safety knowledge resulting in the award of the Site Safety Plus certificate for Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
