Who is this for?
This training course is intended for personnel who need to be familiar with the scope and application of the Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE) Regulations 17th edition. Ideally suited for Technicians, Engineers, Control Engineers, subcontractors, Term contractors etc, who are to carry out work on the LV electrical system.
IEE Regulations Training (17th Edition) Course:
To help participants gain the knowledge and understanding of the scope, objectives and application of the 17th edition regulations.
On successful completion of this course candidates will be able to explain the fundamental requirements of BS7671, be able to demonstrate the application of the regulations and identify the requirements of the special regulations

Part 1: Understanding the scope, object and fundamental principles of BS7671
Part 2: Understand the definitions used within BS7671
Part 3: Understanding how to assess the general characteristics of electrical installations
Part 4: Understanding the requirements of protection for safety for electrical installations
Part 4: Continued. Understand requirements of protection for safety for electrical installations
Part 5: Understanding the requirements for selection and erection of equipment for electrical installations
Part 6: Understanding the requirements of Inspection and testing of electrical installations
Part 7: Understanding the requirements of Special installations or locations as identified in BS Appendices
1 – 5 Days (Dependant on Experience)
