So, what is a CITB Approved Training Organisation (ATO)?

CITB have changed the way it supports training across the construction industry, part of this was the introduction of Approved Training Organisations (ATO). To become an ATO training providers must successfully complete the application process and be able to demonstrate that they deliver training to a defined industry training standard.

Following a consultancy visit aboard the Stena Britannica last year to review working practices, C&G Services instructors will soon be on their way to the Hook of Holland to provide support and instruction to Stena Lines training teams.

The consultancy visit provided a unique insight into crew activities during the loading and unloading of freight and passengers, enabling C&G Services to produce a bespoke package to support the workers with the responsibility to ensure that all activities take place as safely as possible. This Christmas C&G Services have decided to give a donation to our chosen charity Alzheimer’s Research UK.

Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity it is dedicated to finding causes, diagnosis, prevention, treatment and cures for dementia. Backed by the passionate scientists and supporters, they’re challenging the way people think about dementia, uniting the big thinkers in the field and funding the innovative science that will deliver a cure.

The unit has kindly been provided by The British Heart Foundation with C&G Services proud to be its custodians.

Part of our obligation as custodians is to offer free CPR training,

C&G Services (Europe) Ltd, based in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire have been an Employer Nominated Provider Member of the National Skills Academy Nuclear Since 2012. Their clients include numerous Nuclear sector employers and NSAN members such as Magnox, who they have worked with for over 20 years.

We work closely with NSAN, attending numerous events and provide training resource to the Triple Bar for Nuclear Manufacturing programme.
