Who

This practical training course is designed for personnel that have a need to perform job specific lifting operations within their operational area.

Aims

To ensure candidates are given the correct knowledge and practical training to safely lift and move job specific loads using pre-scribed lifting accessories and equipment, then administer practical assessment for pillar crane operations.

Objectives

On successful completion of this job specific training course, operators should have an accepted knowledge of the legal and safety duties in relation to operating a Pillar Crane safely and in accordance with the manufacturers guide lines code of practice for safe use of cranes BS7121, and accepted good practice.
