Who

Candidates must take an SSSTS Refresher course before their existing certificate expires, otherwise the full SSSTS course will have to be taken again. The six-month grace period that used to be in place ceased to exist from 1 January 2016.

Aims

This one-day course will reinforce and update your knowledge and understanding of your legal responsibilities regarding health, safety, welfare and environmental issues.

Objectives

On successful completion of this refresher course candidates will be aware of and able to implement: all updated health, safety, welfare and environ-mental legislation which affect their role as a supervisor new guidance and industry best practice affected by changes their duties and responsibilities with regard to health, safety, welfare and the environment.
